The Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair State University invites you to celebrate the excellence and contributions of the Garden State's ethnic and community news outlets.

This event recognizes more than 145 ethnic and community news outlets in New Jersey — media professionals reporting in more than 20 languages and representing over a dozen diverse communities.
Our celebration brings together journalists, elected officials, and community leaders to highlight the indispensable work of local media serving New Jersey's diverse populations.

Three awards will be presented to honor outstanding contributions to local journalism. Winners will be revealed during the luncheon.
Lifetime Award
Honors an outstanding ethnic and community news outlet that has significantly contributed to its community over many years.
Champion Award
Recognizes an outlet demonstrating commitment to informing, educating, and building community through local journalism.
Leadership Award
Recognizes a journalist who elevates the voices of underserved, under-resourced, and underheard communities.
